What is Digital Self-Custody
Where as in biological self-custody, there are physical attributes
in your creation, digital self-custody is an arbitrary abstraction.
Essentially you are picking a random point, known as a private key,
in the digital space and defining that as your own. In most digital
self-custody systems the digital space is so large, that the number
of points within it is larger than the number atoms in the entire
universe. Thereby when you pick this private key, rest assured it is
highly unlikely, if not impossible that another entitity chooses that
same private key. An important point to note is that in both Digital
Self-Custody and Biological Self-Custody the construct on which you
have self-custody is entirely random. In Biological Self-Custody all of
your physical attributes are defined by your DNA which is a random
creation and as well in Digital Self-Custody as we have mentioned
you are choosing a random private key in a large digital space. The
next section will explain specifically the mechanics of this digital
space and the mechanics of this private key.
